Welcome to the European Rubber Research Laboratories Platform

ERRLAB: a Common initiative to improve technical support to Small and Medium  Rubber Enterprises in Europe.

ABOUT US

Errlab Logo

ERRLAB is an European network of laboratories for research and testing in rubber applications, established by the benchmark rubber laboratories of France, Germany and Italy (LRCCP, DIK, CERISIE), with the support of the rubber industry National Associations: respectively SNCP, wdk, Assogomma and the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers Association ETRMA.

Its objective is to share resources and expertise in order to provide an ever better and complete service to the rubber manufacture industry, with a special attention to small and medium enterprises, in the field of research & development, testing and certification.

Networking and cooperation can support the scientific and technological development of the rubber sector and the strengthening of the European rubber Industry toward the ever challenging safety and environmental requirements.

Vitry-sur-Seine, 02 October 2015
 –  ERRLAB laboratories have signed today with ETRMA (European Tire and Rubber Manufacturers) a new  agreement for the development of a scientific project on “rubber fumes”, i.e. the volatile organic emission (VOC’s) from rubber during the thermal phases of the production process.
This argument is under evaluation by the EU Commission and the project will provide a comprehensive knowledge of the relations existing between the actual formulation used for a specific application (Tires, different type of rubber goods) and the emission of VOC’s from the rubber. The outcome of the project will also be used for the validation of suitable analytical methods to be applied for the identification of VOC’s substances in the factory.”
